First Run Back!!!

Weather: 35ish and chilly

Comments:
Today was my first run back since fall XC and it felt awesome!! I had a ton of adrenaline because I was so excited to be outside exercising after taking a week-long break. A large group of runners (including some mid distancers) and I ran the 49th street loop +extra. I felt a little out of breath during some parts of the run, especially on hills and when we picked up the pace for a little while, but was able to run without any problems despite that and carry on some lovely conversations with runners I hadn't met before. I got back to school feeling exhilarated, remembering completely how much I love running!
