Long Rock Creek Park run

Comments:
Ran with Anthony, Gabo, Gillian, Sarah, Isabel, Katherine, and several other people along the Satellite loop then to the Western Ridge Trail to Soapstone Valley trail and then up Albemarle to Ft. Reno. I was considering lifting/ getting a workout in before practice but am glad that I decided against it as today was a pretty solid, long run. I've been mindful of being hydrated/ eating well and it's making a big difference on my runs. Weirdly enough, I often feel much better/ stronger as the run goes on. For the first couple miles of the run, my legs felt sore and I wasn't feeling quick at all. But when we got to mile 6 or so, I started getting into the rhythm of the run and really enjoying myself.

Also, the sun was setting on our way home through the woods and it was really beautiful. I'm so thankful for this nice weather. Also, we did 8 striders at Ft reno. It was a nice run. Let's hope the weather stays this nice!
