Spring break yo! Means that the gym is empty. They actually do some cleaning this week so some stuff was moved around. The gym opened at 11, and I got there right as it opened. Literally like 10 people in the whole place it was kinda cool. Meant I got to use whatever equipment I wanted. Felt great to get back on the squat rack. Workout was
Squat 4sets x6 (Bar)
Hang Cleans 3sets x6 (Bar, last set 10's)
Stiff Leg Deadlifts 3sets x10 (Bar + 10's)
Pullups 4sets until failure
Box Step ups 3sets x10 each leg (25lbs)
Added some weight to the bar for a few exercises. That was fun. The music today on the loudspeakers was horrible. I almost wish it was silent instead... Hammies were pretty sore today, got a lot of work in. Felt good on the pull ups too. Those have always been tough for me so it feels good to work through a set. I was doing them with an older gentleman, and he was destroying them. I really wanted to keep up.
Essentials: Stretch
Did a light stretch afterwards. I wanted to get back to Conte so that I could eat lunch and get into the lab. Wish I had the stick roller. Otherwise, good workout. I kinda wish the gym was that empty more often. Probably wont have time to fit in a run tomorrow due to travel, but hopefully my legs adjust and aren't too sore.
