Calmed my nerves quite a bit. I shouldn't be nervous, should just have fun because I'm prepared and the race is basically meaningless. It would be a PB day if I play this right.

Saw a large bald eagle on the Lake. Probably the closest I've even been to a bird like that. He was chilling out on the ice about 15 ft. from shore.
