Workout along the river w Anthony

Did fartlek pickups with Anthony along the river today. My body is feeling pretty tired from the mid season ache but it felt to get outside and do a good workout. I did 6 pickups of different times-- 30sec, 60, 120, 90, 60, 30 (i think). I had never done a workout with Anthony before. I have to admit, because it was only me with Anthony I was aware that Anthony was going to be watching me more closely than I'm used to in workout. This is a little silly and I'm not sure why I felt this way but I was a little worried during the workout that I wouldn't meet his expectations or run fast enough or somehow disappoint him. I'm just aware of how this is my last season w Anthony as a coach and that makes me really sad and want to be as good/ hardworking of a teammember as possible so I don't want to mess up in any way.
At the end of the workout, I was tired and felt I pushed it pretty hard but wanted to really finish strong so Anthony let Katherine (who had been steadying) and I do a good last sprint. After the workout, k and I stretched and got some cosi w the girls as penn then enjoyed the rest of the day watching races.
