This was not one of my better runs as I started off tight and with stomach cramps. The good thing was that those issues went away as I ran and I finished with my legs feeling particularly good. The bad thing was that I got out there with the heat and hills and completely died. My breathing on the last hill was atrocious and it shows I am in surprisingly poor shape. Sadly, I wasn't breathing that hard finishing most of my races this year. It's been a rough week. Okay. Now that's over and I need a fresh outlook. After I was done, I actually felt good. The heat hastened my unraveling today, but it's supposed to be cooler tomorrow, which gives me a nice opportuninty to start getting back on track after my weeklong derailment.
