Comments:
I left a little after one after a look at the map indicating it was the state park or nothing. I went out for 35 minutes, feeling bad rather quickly. By 20 minutes I knew I was in for an ordeal. I paused at 35 minutes, retied my shoes and mentally regrouped. I returned in 37:25--all bets for a negative split were off by 50 minutes; I was running directly into the hot wind for the entire return trip. To add insult to injury, I was passing by some kids and their mother said, "Move out of the way guys, he's jogging." I got downright angry and indignant about the whole thing but am over it now. I've had the consistent July I'd been talking about for months. Boardman core routine with 10 pushups.
