Corn Maze Loop

August 19, 2014 (Afternoon)

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
Another busy day at lab. IDK if I am piling up extra work on myself, or if there is a lot to do. Either way I am busy all day. Still practicing and learning the WAXS and trying to get a good image. Its tough when you spend all day doing it, and then get a poor image. Anyways, really really wanted to run in the afternoon. Came home at a reasonable time so I could fit in the run. Started out real fast I needed to burn that off. Went up to the bike path and just rolled on it. Ran without my glasses again (since they get all nasty when I sweat on them) and I couldnt really see anyone on the trail. Gets me into a good rhythm. Ran out towards Hadley to the corn fields that Cromer and I run. The corn is up, but luckily there is a path through the fields. Ran through there. It was kinda scary, I rustled the birds and the path is really narrow. Still, its pretty cool feeling like you are in the maze. Popped out on the road to the Boulders, then came back up Pleasant St. Once I got onto the roads, I was feeling slower, legs heavy. Had a side stitch as well. Kinda plotted along back home. The first part of the run still felt great though really needed that.

Essentials: Stretch

Pretty tired and sore while stretching. Legs felt like they are getting stronger though which is great. Some call it "Pain and Gain" (btw that was a terrible movie, even though The Rock was in it) I guess the gym opens in 2 weeks which is cool.

Thought this run was going to be longer. Still working out distances on the south side of town. Ehh it was still great to get out today.
