Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
So exhausted at the end of the day. I think I ran at least two miles in the hallways of Conte just getting from experiment to experiment. I knew a run was in order when I got home, even though I felt so tired out. Started out by heading to Groff Park, so the downhill was nice and it got my legs going. Once I got on the Rail Trail, cut off into the trails out in the Brickyard Conservation Area. They are pretty crazy, some are nice paths through fields and some are overgrown, with boardwalks and bridges over the streams. Kinda just ran out in them till what I thought was 2 miles, then turned around. I made it to a clearing at the train tracks. Its wild back there definitely needs more exploring. Good to get a soft surface in but some parts of the trail it is necessary to slow down because its so overgrown. Came back the same way. Def slowed down on the way back legs really started to feel tired and heavy at that point. I was glad to finish up.
Essentials: Stretch
Standard stretch outside when I got back. It was cool but humid out today. I was drenched and it was pretty gross when I got back. Legs definitely drained after these few runs. Im busy tomorrow but should have nice weather to get in some longer runs this weekend. Fall is almost coming, and oh man the crisp scent of fall just gets my legs going. Love that.
