Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Was going to run on campus, but we had pizza after seminar today, and it took me a little longer to digest it all. Came home and then headed out for a night run (Carter! Get out there the streetz are callin). Didnt really know where I wanted to go, so I just headed out into the night and made it up as I went along. Started out on the Rail Trail, over to Big Y, up University to Amity. Took Amity through town to Main St, all the way down to Fort River Elementary. Ran on the little trail behind the school to see where it went, then turned around and came back up College St. Came home around the backside of Amherst College. Awesome little loop actually. Nice temp out in the night tonight. Lamp was crucial as well. I just kept running along. The hills felt super tough today though. I was really struggling. Thought the pace would be faster today, but the hills and being cautious in the dark slowed me down. I def picked it up for the last two miles though, and that felt really really good.
Essentials: Stretch
Little stretch inside after I got back. I kinda just sat there catching my breath too. Zoned out... Legs feel good, feet are kinda sore though. Pretty pleased with my mileage now. It seems like since I got back from Cali my mileage has been quality and consistent. I am more determined to get in good runs now and to get stronger and go faster. Yea!
