September 30, 2014 (Afternoon)

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
Really really wanted a run today. People at lab were losing steam near the end of the day, so I headed back to run. I was going to stop a the bank, but it closes at 4pm. I just missed it, but was able to recatch the bus and take it home from town center. Started out down the hill, legs felt good. I could tell I took yesterday off. Slowed down a little bit past Groff, but once I got onto the path I was rollin good. Not too crowded, just some walkers. I really get into the zone on the Rail Trail down there, lost in my thoughts. The trees made a cathedral of fall foliage. Classic New England colors (or so I am told I could only see the dark reds and greens). Turned around at the lot and picked up the pace on the way back. I was feeling good an just worked with it. Really tried to keep pace on the hills on the way back, and it worked. Negative split on the way back. Just one of those days where I wanted to turn all the stress and negative thoughts into speed and sweat. Glad I did.

Essentials: Stretch

Pretty quick stretch outside legs actually feeling much better afterwards. Calves not as sore. Thats rad.
