Comments:
Tempo day. Really not the best day. Actually pretty bad. Felt like I was struggling to maintain effort/pace even though I was going the same pace as last week, which felt easy then. Probably a whole bunch of reasons for that. Could be that I was solo, could have been the wind. I suspect being kind of lax on my multivitamin/iron the last week or so is a major contributor. Heart rate ended up being like 168. Again, considering the race and last week's tempo, this felt really wrong. I do have a week and a half until Oberlin to get shaped up again.
