Weather: Beautiful, 60ish, partly sunny

Comments:
Biked over to Northside since it was nice out. Yesterday's groups apparently went around 27 seconds per for 200m with 6 minutes-ish recovery.

Warmup: 400m jog, 400m variable, ankle dorsiflexion, leg swings, eagles and scorpions, dog legs and donkey kicks, accels: 40y @ 50%, 40y @ 75%, 40y @ 100%, 50y @ 100%, 60y @ 100%, 60y @ 100%

I talked with coach Schmuhl and the plan for me was to run them a bit harder and take longer recoveries to work on legspeed (which I still lack). Took seven and a half minutes for the first two, then eight minutes for the second two.

Splits: 26.58, 26.42, 27.17, 28.28, 29.63

My hamstrings got pretty tight after the third one and the recovery was not long enough to make it go away but I figured I needed to finish the workout. Pleased with the times for the first three intervals though- they're all below pace for the 400 varsity standard, and the first two were both PR's. Feeling much encouraged about my chances of making the team.
