Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Got a good nights sleep last night then just chilled all day. Good to recharge after a long week. Got around to running around 3pm. It was kinda chilly out. I wanted to do a run that strung together all of the softball fields that we play at over the summer. Groff to Kiwanis to Fort River. Headed down to Groff, then onto the Harvey Allen Trail. Trail was really pleasant and peaceful today. Kept a good pace but watched for holes to keep my ankle safe. Once I got out onto the road again I picked it up a little. Feeling pretty good. Cruized up the hill on Main St. I was trying to pass a woman running on the other side of the street. Came home via Dickinson and the back side of Amherst College. Lots going on there today. Football and a soccer game. I stopped to watch a little bit of the soccer game. It was too hectic around the crosswalk, so I didnt head down to Pratt to watch the football game (when I got home I found out it was on TV, which is kinda funny. I felt guilt watching it knowing that it was actually going on right down the street). Legs felt great today and it was nice to get some higher mileage. Felt like I was going real strong near the end, whole body workout.
Essentials: Stretch, ankle band
Stretch and ankle band in the living room when I got back. Ankle actually felt pretty good today, no real weakness while running. The stretch band sure helps with that.
