I could have gone to Yorktown or W and L, but wanted this to be as close to the real thing as possible, so I drove to school and started running to AU. Whom did I see but Zeke grinding out his usual route? He accompanied me the long way to AU through Fletcher gate for my warmup, watching my first 800m then going home. I felt quite heavy-legged throughout the whole thing probably (hopefully) because of yesterday and weights on Thursday. 800s are my least favorite interval on the track and I wished the 400s could have been faster, but promised myself I wouldn't get upset. In any case, they FELT fast and I could take the first 200m quickly. I took a 400m cooldown between everything.
