Lidlifter meet. As mentioned earlier, I didn't really expect anything today, just the hope that it wouldn't go terribly. And it turned out to not be horrible. Time is below. When I consider what I ran at Carnegie last year, I'm already in much better shape, and I've only run 30 mile weeks, with barely any actual workouts. So as a super early estimate, I'm ok with this. I could have been faster, based on how I felt 5 seconds after finishing, but this race wasn't a big enough deal for me to be upset about anything. The race though, I felt pretty comfortable, I think I kept my form sharp, and breathing was steady. Did manage to pick up a couple of blisters from my spikes. Hopefully those'll go away soon, and these spikes will get properly broken in too.
