Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Finally got my shoes on and went for a run. Had to fit in at least one run on the island. Not a lot of places to go honestly. Just ran a long the road up to Exuma Beach Resort and Jolly beach. Didn't feel great going out. Ankle was really tight. Didn't like running with all the traffic either so I just turned around and ran back. Picked up the pace a little ankle felt much better on the way back. Running weather felt a lot like florida, which was refreshing and fun. Felt good to get my legs moving after not doing any running for a week. Goes to show how messed up my ankle is as well...
Essentials (Bahamainian style): Snorkling
As soon as I got back, changed into my flip flops and board shorts and jumped into the ocean. Cooled off in the water for a while, then ventured over to the reef over on the point. It was really cool so many fish were hanging out and swarming the edge of the reef. Best Snorkling I got all trip. Didn't really need to stretch since I ran so short. Legs feel fine as well. Going to take a while to get back up to mileage and get back into consisitent running. It's gonna be tough at times, but that's what you gotta do to get stronger.
