Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
first workout back at school and it was great!
3 mile LT run - was supposed to hit 7 to 6:45/mile splits, ended up going 6:12, 6:14, 6:02 (lol) and I felt awesome, honestly felt like an LT run and wasn't pushing all the way or anything
4 x 400m fast (lol) - splits were 76, 77, 78, 76
coach wanted me to hit 70s... eeeeeeeek i just don't have that speed yet, or maybe i do and my lack of confidence is preventing me from digging down and finding it. Something honestly tells me it's the latter - I wasn't pushing hard enough in those 400s, I just HAVE to learn how to run fast again.
Coach has me seeded at 5:20 for the mile on Friday, hoping and praying that I can hit that or better. It would be pretty cool to get a 14 second pr in the mile, and even though a 5:20 is not a remarkable time, it's a step in the right direction. BUT FIRST, I have to get it so I should probably stop writing about it
