Goal pace was around 6:20, splits were 6:03 (oops), 6:14, 6:14, 6:15
Not bad considering only a minute rest. A year ago I would not have been able to run a workout with those times with 5 minutes of rest, so I am pleased with today. I was not the strongest mentally and wasn't even sure I would finish the workout, but I did! And I'm really happy that I did.
400m was 75 seconds, 5:00 flat pace as my coach pointed out. Which really scares me. A lot. But I know I can do it. When he told me that, he said, "Someday!" and that actually did mean a lot. It's great having a coach that believes in you. Even better is knowing that you can trust that coach's expectations, because he knows his shit.
Overall a good running day! Really needed it
