Comments:
Got to run with someone today! Brendan got a gym pass today, so we went around 3ish. Later than I usually like to go but I had a meeting this afternoon. Started out on the track since the treadmills were full. Just a nice warm up. Felt ok. We timed it nicely since two treadmills opened up right as we finished on the track. Went 3.5 on the treadmills, cutting down from 7 mph to 10.5 mph. The end was fast but it felt great. Felt smooth the whole time and it went by fast when you run with someone else. Finished up with 1.5 on the track again. There were lots of people there and we had to weave around the traffic. Held a nice cooldown pace. Overall felt very strong and consistent today. Brendan doesnt have much of a concept about training, hopefully I can teach that to him. He tries to do too much all at once without working up to it, which is how you get injured... He seems to like the treadmills though.
Essentials: Stretch, L7
Decent stretch down on the gym floor with some L7. Worked out what needed to be worked out. Legs feel stronger afterwards. Havnt run this far in a while but it felt good. Took a quick shower then went back to Conte before heading home. I was pretty hungry afterwards. Got a lot of work in the next few weeks leading up to APS and I want to keep everything in check, but I will try to manage going to the gym with Brendan twice a week. In the mean time its all about doin work.
