Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Is it spring out? Weather is nice but there are still snow mounds a foot high on the ground. Very confusing. With Daylights Savings Time, its gets darker later which means its nice for afternoon running. Kinda hungry when I headed out but just did it. Legs were heavy today. Didnt feel strong like I have the past few days. Kinda slogging along. Went behind Amherst College, the elementary school loop then came back along town center. Sidewalks were good for the most part. Also a fair amount of people out running today. Once again, I didnt see anyone out during the cold parts of winter... Ill admit it was brutal but still you gotta put in those miles.
Essentials: Stretch
Just a quick stretch my legs were really muddy and I didnt want to make a mess also I was just tired out. Legs feel a little better but overall I am pretty sore from the run. Thats a good thing. I think I was so sluggish since I was still digesting the 6 pieces of pizza I ate at lunch. I guess this is what a lifter would call a cheat week. Its quite delicious. Also cant help but bring up the fact that its been two years since my appendicitis. That event shaped my running career and lifestyle so drastically I end up thinking about it a lot.
