Weather: 60s, sunny for the majority of the meet
Comments:
We had the Potomac scrimmage today. The goal for me was to wake up the legs and start the adjustment to speed work. Although quite nervous for the 200m, I warmed up well and ran in a heat full of Hoppers. William allegedly had my official time, but frankly not wanting to see it, the mark below is conjecture. Looser for the 800m, I split around 66, but could not run with the top group and was passed by both Silas and Erkin. Still, I didn't feel that exhausted after it. The 400m upset me a bit because I felt like I was going pretty hard but still ran my default 400m time; I could have warmed up better if had paid closer attention to the meet schedule. Oh well. I need to usher in a new era of working harder in speed workouts, which I had an issue with last season.
