5k race in 18:30 - extremely disappointing, disheartening. cried during my cooldown because i was so disappointed in my results. i am motivated now, though. i never want to feel this way after a race again. i want to break records and win races, not slug along in a slower time than i ran in xc. not sure why i did so poorly, all i know is that i felt too comfortable for the whole race. i need to learn how to push myself again, to hurt and to be ok with that.
