Old Farm Rd Out and Back

May 15, 2015 (Afternoon)

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
Great run this afternoon. Brain was all wrapped up with research ideas, wondering where to go from here and how. Its important to keep in mind its a long process for an end goal, just like training for racing. Anyways on the cooler side, good run went down to Groff, over to Brickyard then kept going through Harvey Allen Trail and Wentworth Farm all the way to the train head at Old Farm Rd. IDK why I ever ventured over that way. Opens up a lot more trails and its really nice over there. When I got around in Wentworth Farm, really started to pick up the pace. It just felt like what was natural. I was pushing it really hard, maybe letting off pent up pressure/whatever was picking at me in the lab. Running today was the best way to unwind. Honestly didnt really want to head out when I got home because I was tired. Turns out I wasnt I had a lot in my legs. Took it easy on the boardwalks and on Mill Rd but I just started sprinting up the hill back home. Finished with a tempo HR. Havnt run like that in past few runs but it felt really good. Legs were strong feeling today.

Essentials: Stretch

No one was home. Just stretched outside and enjoyed the weather. Town is quiet now. Feels like summer. Also not as sore today considering the game yesterday. Muscles are starting to get used to the motions. Also on a side note, who actually programmed in all the paths on the Harvey Allen trail? Some intern at Google or MapMyRun? Its impressive and helpful, but I cant believe that was someones job...
