I did a brief, slow out and back through country club hills and affirmed my distaste for running in Arlington, Virginia. There's just nowhere to go! Each time I search the map for new neighborhoods, I find that any promising streets simply dead end. Fitness wise I also still feel a prevailing weakness in my training that shows any time I have to go up hills in the middle in of a run, or after about 25 minutes. To counteract that I chose some of the more cardio driven items from the training packet for strength work; 100 mountain climbers, 1 minute six inches, 20 stationary back lunges, 4x30 jumping jacks with 5 pushups in between, 30 sit-ups, 15 burpees, and 30 seconds of Russian twists.
