I ran to Fort Ethan Allen Park on Old Glebe, did drills, leg swings, 6 short striders, an extra warmup lap around the park and then 4x2:30 at 5k effort with equal recovery. I was dreading this run from the moment my alarm rang, but after the first one, I enjoyed it immensely, at last able to find that feeling of working hard which I've struggled to attain, relishing each pickup. After another lap around the park, I ran home, making sure not to shy away from 36th.
