Exercise Type: Run

Weather: Perfect, except for an occasional strong wind

Comments:
Paranoid about my left shin, and imagining my whole cross country season going up in smoke over some horrible injury, I almost didn't do this run. Once we'd abandoned our plan to tour Malmo (where I'd consumed two cups of coffee, which made me feel quite awake) and instead returned to Copenhagen via train, I set out. Feeling nothing wrong, I produced a big loop around the residential outskirts of Copenhagen, and after a long detour through a sketchy neighborhood by an inlet, a few more long digressions before I had to turn right towards the Hotel Scandic. On one particular street probably around 1:40:00, I significantly picked up the pace, fancying myself in some glamorous marathon. During the final 20 minutes, I did get genuinely lost, contributing to the length--that part was rather slow because of crowds and has brought down the average. But once again, I simply did not get that exhausted; after I had loosened up, the pace stayed peppy and bouncy and I wanted to run faster. 2x25 pushups, 2x75 crunches. Long run, long log.
