Weather: ~75 degrees, Humid
Comments:
Long run day. I think this is the first time I've done 12 continuous miles in ages. Certain challenges notwithstanding. Very solid run. It felt like I hit that magical "run forever pace". I think if I eat something beforehand, and hydrate at different points, I'm set to keep building my long runs. New shoes also helped a lot, my knee didn't act up, and still felt like I was running on pillows. Patriotic pillows. I'm going to be weighting more of my mileage towards my long runs from now on, as well as keep a watch on them for pacing. The goal train is setting sail, and I've got a golden ticket.
