Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Fell asleep watching football and didnt want the time to get away so I quickly got ready and headed out at 3pm. Just ran along the trail solo down towards Belchertown. Kept going and going till I hit the end of the trail, took a pee break, then came back. Didnt feel great the entire time, otherwise I would have extended my long run. Still got in some good distance and time and it wasnt that strenuous. Calves were getting tight, also Achilles didnt feel 100% but I went along with it OK. Otherwise just tried to move my legs one step at a time forward. Its funny how the Rail Trail works out like that, its just a straight shot. There were a ton of bikers out as well today which was nice to see, since the weather was magnificent.
Essentials: Stretch, stick roller
Probably needed a good stretch after some long mileage, but didnt really do it. After calling home I wasnt in the mood... Legs feel ok still, I will roll them out here and there this evening. IT bands felt kinda tight today too. Shoes might be getting old actually. They have been getting a little more standard mileage than usual, which is great.
