October 4, 2015 (Morning)
Exercise Type: Run
Weather: ~55 degrees, Cool to Nice
Comments:
Today was a learning experience in a few ways.
1: Nature valley bars are a terrible pre-run food, they burn dirty. Like peat.
2: Janji tanks, as much as I like them, are only good to wear for the first 12 miles or so. Maybe I should wear a larger size. Either way, friction is real.
3: Friction isn't restricted to shirts.
4: Garfield is apparently living on the quad. No lasagna in sight though.
But, it was a solid long run. After feeling completely burned out last week, I figured I'd take today a little easier. Which I might have done for the most part? But, I think I got bored on MLK, and wanted to go home, so I must have picked it up a lot. Which put me at the pace below. Either way, much better run than last week. Guess taking it easy the night before, and getting enough sleep helps a lot.
Last one of these before the big one next week. This week is gonna be one of those "listen to your body" kinds of weeks, so mileage this coming week is TBD.
