Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Afternoon into a night run. Waited a while to get home on the bus so that kinda tired me out, but really really wanted to run still. It was freezing this morning but actually comfortable in the afternoon. Starting out, right shin was really tight, feeling like shin splints. Might be from squats yesterday. Decided to play it safe and just ran a short loop. Still felt like I had a solid pace but my shin was pretty tight the entire time. Just toughed it out. Sunset view over the meadow was amazing. By the time I got back it was fairly dark. Solid chance to fit in something though.
Essentials: Stretch, stick roller, abs
Stretched a little, legs feel good, then worked on shin and rest of legs with the stick roller. Man it was really tight. Keep an eye on it work through it. Might have to jump over to the bike. With lab work being pretty fast paced lately, its really nice to get in a good run at the end of the day, mostly to be outside and to switch things up. I miss being around campus during the day for sure. Also I need to remember more ab routines. I can only remember Ibis and Ace. I recall Bear was pretty tough.
