Stadium Loop

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
Campus run. Really started to rain in the afternoon and it was raining when I headed out. Still it was kinda warm out actually. Shoes felt stiff again, also my socks were kinda small and had holes in the heels so I got bad chaffing there. Ran up around and through campus, down Fearing and then did a Stadium Loop, ending at the rec center. Worked into it and had a real solid pace going around the stadium. It felt refreshing in the rain actually. Legs were really good actually, even though it was a short run. Just felt like I needed to do this today. Didnt really want to run in the nasty storm as I was heading out. Made it to the gym before it got really dark. Training my endurance on the treadmill since I need to run on there in the winter, so I jumped on and did a mile at 7:00 pace. Felt real solid actually, even though my shoes were wet and slippery. Finished up with an easy cool down on the indoor loop.

Essentials: Stretch, L7, abs

Great stretch after the cool down. Legs felt super loose and comfortable. Abs were good too getting those in. Kinda just zoned out sitting there against the wall. Good mental break. Weights were soo crowded today, I was there at the busiest time. Quick shake out running back to the car afterwards. Just wanted to go home and eat at that point. Got a blister on my heel afterwards. Good sign its time to throw out all my old socks with hole and wear the thicker ones with the 8s.
