Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Fit in a run right before sun down. Weather was nice today, didnt even really need the longsleeve. Uncharacteristic Thanksgiving weather. Felt like a Thanksgiving in the south. Took some time to check out the rest of the waterfront bikepath that they finally finished. Ran over to Cass Park through Taber St, did a full loop by the baseball fields, came back over the bridge, and continued on the path by Puddledockers. Thats where the new part is. Its nice, but we still always got through there the good old fashioned way. I was feeling tired, legs heavy especially, coming back on the path, so I cut it a little short and just cut across at Purity and came back on Plain St. I was really struggling coming home downtown. Just feeling real slow and sluggish, ready to be done. Mileage caught up to me. Impressed with the trail though, would be great to run all the way along. We have been running that route and bushwhacking our way for so long, it brought some nostalgia back. Its different now for sure.
Essentials: Stretch
Actually did a little bit of stretching when I got back, something I skipped out on yesterday. Felt so tight and sore and it took a while to fully work into it. Not even feeling it all the way still, legs just very tight. Overall, good weather and a pretty nice jog, just felt tight and slow and inefficient.
