Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Whack ass weather today. It felt like an amazing spring day today. Pretty sure at this time last year we were still getting slammed and buried under snow. It was sunny and in the 50s today. Rail Trail back open. Started out by going up to the trail then all the way down and back by Groff. Initially, legs were sore and tight from yesterday, felt all locked up in the knees. Worked into it well though. Once I got to the Meadow, there was a girl running in front of me and close to the same pace, and I was trying to calculate when to put on a surge and pass her so it didnt look like I was just creepily following her. Because of that, I really picked up the pace for the next few miles all the way down to the turn around. Felt real good down there actually, a lot like yesterday. I passed her and dropped her at the turn around and kinda eased up on the way back. It got real muddy on the road too so I had to step around. Slowed down and felt more tired coming back up the hill.
Essentials: Stretch
Legs just covered in mud, so I had to stretch outside. It was just so pleasant outside, nice to just sit in the grass again. Its been a while. Legs feel really great afterwards. Ill take that fresh spring smell over frozen nostrils any day.
Going up passed Amherst College doesnt add on a full half mile but its close. Rounded up a lot today.
