March 9, 2016 (Afternoon)
Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Whoa sun blue skys and the heat today. It was unseasonably hot out today I bet it broke some records. I had planned to run with Marco in the afternoon, but he pushed it back to 4pm which was actually nice. By then there was a solid breeze and it was real comfortable. Did a classic loop. Field was pretty dirty and muddy but we made it though. Marco picked up the pace at a few spots and it was tough for me to keep up. Also he was logging all of our paces in kilometers and I had a hard time converting back. Still it was solid and right on time felt good to push the pace and try to keep up with someone. Up on Orchard Hill all the undergrads were out on the lawn just chillin playing frisbee and stuff. I love it when its nice enough for them to come back outside.
Essentials: Stretch, L7, hips
Good stretch I got the mat covered in mud. Went through and did some more on my hips which feel slightly tight. Legs feel really worked today which is great. Its looking like shorts and shirts from here. Crazy just a month ago it was -20 on a run, and no one was outside. A lesson in patience. I have been thinking about that since I got my appendix out 3 years ago today and that was perhaps my biggest lesson in patience and I learned a lot from it.
