Comments:
It snowed last night. People were hyping it up but it was a dusting, then it all melted in the sun. Still pretty crazy. Nevertheless it was cold out today. Just felt exhausted from the fun weekend. It was awesome to see Phil and Mal, see Cromer move on, and meet some prospective students (I think some of them had a good time and I expect we can get a legit class next year). Kinda felt like a whirlwind, so today was nice to get back into the grind. Felt decent heading out to the gym, but the wind was against me and it slowed me down considerably at some parts. On the way back, had the wind with me, but my legs just felt shot and tired. When I got onto the rail trail, It was pretty hard going. Those 9 miles yesterday caught up to me. There were trees spewed all over the place, a couple huge ones actually that fell on the sidewalk near the rail trail. I didnt think it was that windy. More snow and crazy weather in the forecast as well.
Essentials: Stretch, roll
Good stretch and roll even though my legs still feeling tired. Crammed all my mileage into a few days this week. Intense stuff but for the most part legs felt comfortable with no nagging injuries. I will be pretty upset if it is snowing at the race next weekend though, cause I think my legs didnt adjust to the cold very well today.
