Fort Hill

Comments:
Definitely wanted to run today. Same deal at lab got a lot done, but just feeling fried. It as nice weather out this afternoon not cold like yesterday. I got to stretch my legs out walking from town center then just headed straight out. Legs felt ready to go good stride comfortable pace. Stomach felt fine. Past Groff then turned up the rail trail. Went up around Fort Hill then cut back through the woods to the rail trail again. They are doing a lot of work there cutting trees, and I couldnt see the trail real well and rolled my ankle again coming through. Same one from a few weeks ago so it hurt pretty bad, had to walk it off then jog home slowly. Not what I wanted. Put me back to square one. Legs were feeling real good at that point and I wanted to go. Made it home ok but it was pretty tender and weak.

Essentials: Stretch

Stretch out on the floor and let my ankle rest a little. Tried to stretch it out at well. Need elevation and ice tonight then rest somemore. I wanted to get back some good mileage this week... How did the Jews manage all those miles during Passover without getting stomach cramps or rolling ankles? Puts everything into perspective. Need to be more careful on where I run and work in some ankle strengthening now since its back to the weak point.
