Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
legs felt good, i read in a book that a typical distance runner takes 180 steps per minute, no matter the pace. Jack daniels recommended in his book that if you take fewer steps than that in a minute it can often lead to landing impact injuries. Also instead of trying to hit the ground run over the ground smoothly and land softly. I tried to integrate those ideas and my legs felt much better. I counted my steps and found that originally i was probably taking 162-165 instead of 180 so i upped it a little and i feel better. I am going to give this a try for a little bit. Daniels in his book said that the cadence or turnover does not change as you pick up pace but rather only the length of your stride.
