Comments:
Hit the gym after a full days work today. Finally felt like I was back into the swing of things. When I left, it was freezing with the wind chill, so I ended up just bouncing around in the gym the whole time. Glad I kept myself focused, did most on the track, allowed me to pick up the pace a little even, ended the second session with a quicker 800 that felt really really good, reminded me of interval sessions on the indoor track. Its been a while since those days... Also, knees and shins didnt get too tight on the track which was good. Took the treadmill sections a little slower. What a week but glad I can get back into the swing of things.
Essentials: roll, stretch
Did some rolling at the gym before jogging back to the parking lot, then finished up with some more constructive stretching at home. Feeling pretty good surprisingly. Legs felt quick and comfortable today, and I get put in solid mileage each day now.
