Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
At lunch today, just slowed way down and felt gassed out. Got a little second wind but knew that that was my body telling me I needed to run, really badly. So I got home, a little on the later side, but went right out. Thought that I could manage the rail trail, but when I got down there, I was wrong. I should have known. They dont plow it but I thought most of it should have melted. Anyways I carefully made my way back to Amherst College then fashioned a new route up near the high school. Ended up being pretty solid had a good stretch of even clear roads. I couldnt really see much. On the way back, right shin started to tighten up actually. Been a while since I have felt my shin splints. I did keep going and they werent too bad but that might need some more stretching. Otherwise legs felt great I was just flying. Felt awesome to be outside, under the moon, and out of the lab for once. Finished up strong down the hill.
Essentials: Stretch
Solid stretch its been a few days so I was a little sore. Keep an eye on this shin, also knees a little tight. Its definitely harder to loosen up when I to cold out. Good mileage havent gone this far in a while, and it felt super controlled and strong.
