Exercise Type: Run

Charlotte wanted to run today so we met in the morning at the Town Commons and headed out for there. What a great idea. It was fantastic out this morning, cool hard ground, super sunny and clear. Just gorgeous. She knew about some of the trails out there in the back part of the woods, which I have been trying to find but never made it out that far. We headed down Main St then into the trails, there were some people walking dogs. It was mostly real icy out there had to watch our steps here and there. Still kept a good pace. So nice to run with someone, makes it just fly by. Before we knew it we had gone out 32 mins and were in the middle of the woods. Turned around there and worked our way back. She stopped off and High St and then I ran home. That last mile or so felt awesome, legs were just flying down the hill. Finished super strong. Usually I run in the afternoon but it was nice to get up and get it in on the early side.

Essentials: Stretch

Nice and easy stretch downstairs. Legs feeling pretty good from yesterday actually and they got pretty stretched out on the run. Had to maneuver around on the ice so that was welcome to my hips and ankles.

Not sure on the mileage, but if we went out in 32 it was probably 4. What a week in mileage. Havent run this long in a while and cant really remember the last time I even was over 20 mi/week... Anyways it feels absolutely great.
