8x1000 workout with a local running club. It felt great, ran on just 35 sec. rest, so i feel like it'd probably be a pretty good berometer for where i am in terms of 8k shape right now if i were to race it.
splits were: 3:31, 3:31, 3:31, 3:31, 3:30, 3:30, 3:33, 3:27. just hung on to the back of this group of guys, and i felt good. a bit tired at the end, but it was a long workout for me. overall it added up to 28:04 for 8k.
relatively short warm up (about a mile), and not too long of a cool down (bit more than 1.5), but i needed to find my way back to where my car was so i had to follow people back there. rest for intervals is included in the overall time, it ranged from 33 to 38 seconds.
