Tempo Time!

Down to MLK for my first tempo of this training season. I wanted a diagnostic but also some distance if I am going to work up to 7. Decided on 4 - 5.

Went out and felt pretty good for a 5:39, 5:41, then the 5:48 was a bit harder and the rest 5:35 and 5:39 (for .38) felt hard. So, given my quicker average pace and this being the first - I feel good about this. Also had a nice talk with a man in the parking lot afterwards about running.

HR was 180 at end - high.

Stretch, roll, & off to a swim.
