5 Mile Tempo No. 3

Comments:
Down to MLK for this week's tempo. Ran down from the house picking up my shoes along the way So, this gave me about 3 miles.

The tempo was ok - good in hitting my pace and HR in the 160s - legs were definitely feeling tired though. They were fairly spent and felt beyond tempo effort at the end. Splits were nice and consistent: 5:38, 38, 39, 40, 39.

I was very pleased with those. And I did feel relaxed to an extent until about the halfway mark.

Ran into Tony at the end, and did my cool-down running back to the top of the hill.
