Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Everything canceled for the snow day. Nothing in the morning, and I wanted to get the run in before it got too bad. I went out as it was going down and the roads were already getting covered up. Not too much traffic so I could go on whatever surface I wanted. Ended up looping over to campus on Lincoln then going all the way around. Felt tough going out but the wind, slick and cold slowed me down a little bit on the way back for sure. Campus was getting worked on so it wasnt too slippery. Felt great overall though, only a few other runners out there. This is my element, reminded me of all those blizzard group runs we would go on back in the day, just running without any regard for the weather.
Essentials: Stretch
I was cased in ice when I got back, also pretty wet from the snow. Legs were feeling good and needed to be seriously stretched out. Feeling tired afterwards, not energized to go back in and work. Feeling like its just time to hunker down for the rest of the snow. Should be cleared up within a day though, I think it would be pretty tough to run on further into the storm.
