Awful run to the U.N.

July 28, 2018 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
Ran up from the apartment to the U.N. and back. My left leg felt locked from around the knee to the hip. I felt like maybe I was really either super loose or super tight, it was really hard to tell what was going on. I jogged slowly for a bit, did some stretching and warm up drills, and then moved on. Those seemed to help, and it got better gradually as the run went on, but then got bad again at the end. I was going to run down to the ferry and back to make it long, but it was apparent that that was a pretty bad idea about a minute into the run. Part of the problem may have been the almost 7 hours I spent on the bus here yesterday after almost everything that could have possibly gone wrong went wrong on the ride up. After a stretch and a hot shower (and some advil) its gona away, but I'm going to be super careful tomorrow when I get back home. If mileage is on the pretty low end this week, so be it.
