Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Late afternoon run. I was in Conte all day, catching up and preparing. It was nice to take yesterday off, but that was short lived. I was pretty tired right before I headed out. Started out slow going down towards Pelham. I have ran back there before but not in a while. I was surprised, its real nice out there. A little traffic but quiet once you get on Harkness. Started to feel like I was slowing down coming through Echo Hill, wondering if I could make the whole distance. I kept going though and went through Wentworth farm then came back on Stanley. I really wanted the miles so I added on over to Whitney as well. That was worth it picked up the pace and started to feel a lot stronger near the end. Just took me a while to get into it. Legs felt much better. It was cooling down when I got back. This heat wave sucked so I appreciated the temps. Yesterday was actually near perfect weather.
Essentials: Stretch
I was gassed when I came up the road. Looking forward to some fluids. I should have stayed more hydrated today. Good stretch though. ITs and knees not tight like they were on Friday. I still cant hit that high mileage even though I have been putting so much more effort into running. Glad I got a lot today, but the weekly mileage still seems low. I am fortunate that I am out there though getting in something solid.
