Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
Warmup into the tempo. Was in group five. Stomach was in knots immediately and I dropped back. Felt worse than I ever have in a workout because of that. I finished behind everyone, probably averaging about a 6:10ish pace for the tempo portion on the trail. Late Night was with me for a while and helped me through the pain really well. Tried to stay upright and hold my form even if going slower. Wasn't going to let the pain stop me on the 800s. I dropped down a group after talking to Tom, and so our goal pace was 3:00. Did those with JB, Caesar, and Michael. Felt better as we went on, but that's a relative term. Honestly awful for those too, just not as bad as the tempo. Last one was just me and JB which was cool. Splits were 2:53, 2:55, 2:59, and 2:52. On a good day I know I can be maybe five to ten seconds faster on those on average. Moral of the story is don't eat the DC hamburgers for lunch on a Tuesday workout.
