Shep, Denton, and I embarked on a similar endeavor to 2 weeks ago, but this time it was a full ladder of 1,2, 3, 4, 3, 2, 1 minute-long pickups @ 5k pace (as per Tom's recommendation) with rest equal to the time just run. We alternated pacers, which made things a heck of a lot easier. Pace varied from 5 flat to 5:50-ish depending on length and terrain covered. By far, hardest pickups were the latter 2 and 3 minutes. The final minute was considerably easier. Jogged back and stretched fully. Glad that knee held up fine. Iced as well. Strength this morning was Russian Twists, Reverse clams, clams, and Superpeople.
