Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Rainy, wet and cloudy today. Fine weather for running but not for much else. I was tired and slept in a lot and took it easy then headed out mid afternoon. Felt strong even though my legs were actually pretty heavy. I tried to push the pace on the trails, dodging all the walkers. Its a surprising climb up coming back on Salish and Sasamat, so I guess that slowed me down. Still, form felt comprehensive enough to get me where I needed to go. Stopped of at the loop next to Queen Elizabeth and did 2 laps of straight away striders. Felt I needed to open up my stride a little, shake out the soreness of the biking muscles. They went surprisingly well. Took it easy back.
Essentials: Stretch
Quick stretch when I got back. I was pretty muddy and I wanted to clean up. Need to roll out now calves are still wicked tight. Its feels like a shock to flip flop between biking and running.
